The University of the Sunshine Coast offers a broad mix of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, Study Abroad courses, English language programs and research opportunities. The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) first opened its doors as the Sunshine Coast University College in 1996. In 1999 it was renamed to the current University of the Sunshine Coast. The main campus is on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland around 100 kilometres (60 miles) north of Brisbane.

USC offers a range of single or double bachelor degrees. The university has almost 100 undergraduate programs to choose from, relevant to the real world and covering a vast array of professions. Students can also take courses through associate and combined degree, diploma and honours program. Aside from all these, students are given the opportunity to study overseas.
The basic entry requirement for undergraduate studies at USC is an ATAR qualification. However, for students who are not able to meet this requirement, there are a number of other pathways to gain entry into tertiary study.
